So work the problem backward.

Normal way to solve problem

x^2 x 3.14 = area

Backward

324 / 3.14 = 103.184 
[tex] \sqrt{103.184} [/tex] = 10.157

The answer is 10.157

But let's plug in the numbers to make sure

10.157^2 x 3.14 = 323.9.. or the rounded answer
