3x-4y=-30
3x+2y=6
Multiply the second equation by -1
-3x-2y=-6
Add the two equations together to cancel out x
-6y=-36
y=6
Then put the y value in one of the original equations to solve for x
3x+2(6)=6
3x+12=6
3x=-6
x=-2
